For GLEYA, that question was simple:
What if skincare could be as advanced, intentional, and precise as modern medicine?
GLEYA was founded by Zaineb Noor, who holds an MSc in Genomic Medicine from the University of Exeter,UK. Her work focused on how genes influence the way skin ages, repairs itself, and responds to its environment.
Through years of research, she learned something many skincare products overlook:
Skin health is biological, deeply personal, and influenced by both genetics and lived experience.
Yet across South Asia, skincare products rarely reflected these realities. GLEYA was created to change that.

Founder’s Note
I didn’t start GLEYA to build just another beauty brand.
I started it because, despite years of studying medicine and skin biology, I couldn’t find skincare that truly understood how South Asian skin works — or how deeply personal skin struggles can be.
GLEYA grew from a desire to create skincare that is thoughtful, science-driven, and uncompromising in quality.
Every formula we create is intentional.
